It takes everything. Everything.
The Luce Prospect Group was born in 2014 in my home town.
McKinney, Texas was the right place to start, because it is where my roots are. I’ve grown this company over the past several years through hard work, determination, and an obsession with the details that our competitors simply gloss over. Through LPG, I have helped high school and junior college athletes earn more than $3.4 million in combined scholarship money.
100% of LPG Prospects have graduated high school and have gone to college to play their sport at the collegiate level.
Career Notes
Luce has played professional baseball since 2012 and signed with the Baltimore Orioles in 2014. Luce has also played at Division I Elon University (NC), and the DI-JUCO level following his career at Allen High School in Texas.
In two full seasons at the DI-JUCO level at Jefferson College (MO), Jake finished with a career .349 batting average, and helped lead the program to back-to-back conference titles.
Jake helped lead the Elon Phoenix to a Southern Conference championship in 2011.
Jake’s 2015 professional season was cut short due to sustaining a major concussion after getting hit by a 94 mph fastball during a game (video below). Luce took the entire 2016 season off to help build the infrastructure of the Luce Prospect Group, and has since returned to the diamond playing Winter Ball in October 2016 and January 2017.
For now, Jake continues to develop his brand of being the Thought Leader on college recruiting and holds Recruiting Workshops in the Dallas, TX area for parents & prospects in need of recruiting guidance.
