Nick Lorenzoni has accepted a full-ride scholarship to attend Olney Central College in Illinois.
OCC, a Division I-JUCO program, currently holds a record of 35-7 for the 2017 Regular Season.
“I’m really excited,” commented Lorenzoni. “Baseball is baseball no matter where it is in the country. I definitely couldn’t have done it without LPG’s help.” Lorenzoni signed with LPG on February 15, 2016. Now, almost 16 months later, he will be able to continue his education and playing career on a full-ride scholarship beginning in the Fall of 2017.
“We’re very excited for Nick and the Lorenzoni Family,” said LPG Founder Jake Luce. “Nick called me and told me multiple times how he couldn’t have done it without us. I stressed to him that he was the one that put in the hard work. I’m just glad LPG was able play a role in helping him carve out his future.”
This is the 12th Luce Prospect in the Class of 2017 that has accepted a scholarship to play at the next level.
Only four Prospects in the Class of 2017 remain unsigned. All four have received interest from college programs.
